In a little while I'm going to the screening of the film "Seven Passages," based on the 2007 play "Seven Passages: The Stories of Gay Christians." I'm doing it for GL, one of my students, and I'm doing it for myself. I'm a member, an ally, as it were, of the GLBT group at school.
The play was written by Stephanie Sandberg, a professor at Calvin College, so no doubt the religion will be Christian Reformed Church. She interviewed 100+ gay and lesbian people from West Michigan.
I'm hungry. Pizza is supposed to be served. I've got a gift certificate for Starbucks if they're still open. I need coffee. It's been a long day: three classes, one meeting, and now this event. What a busy little beaver I am.
