I'm about to think this Hump Day has more humps than any camel ever dared to have. I slept very badly last night (again! second night in a row!), and in about an hour, I'm teaching my night class. I've graded papers all day and advised pre-pharmacy majors and even found time to run home for lunch, where I put together a plastic shelving unit while my Lean Pocket was nuking in the microwave. Esteemed Spouse is driving up tomorrow with his old tv and dvd/vcr machine and a little antenna. I probably will not be able to pick up any stations, but at least I can watch recorded movies.
My little apartment is fast filling up. Soon I won't be able to walk around in it! The little shelving unit (ugly gray plastic) doesn't take up much room, though, and if it will work, then I can put the printer on it, too. That little end table on which the printer sits can be moved to serve as a nightstand for me beside the bed.
I've made plans to stay up here on Friday until noonish so I can get more grading done. Right now I'm feeling as if I have terminal arthritis from sitting so much. At least the sky is blue today, which is good, since we're in for a cold snap that may bring snow over this weekend. It may affect Halloween on Saturday. I hope not, since I've already spent nearly $30 on candy!
