I got summer session grades turned in. Now I'm working on the New Faculty Orientation Session that I'm doing tomorrow. Assessment of writing. Rubrics. WAC. Familiar ground.
It's going to start to rain heavily in a short while, or so the radar indicates. I'd entertained vague thoughts of driving up to Big Rapids today, but maybe I'll wait and go in the morning. I'm halfway hanging around the house today just to be able to speak to Esteemed Spouse, who should be at his mother's house by now. I can't imagine why he hasn't yet called me. If he hasn't called in the next half hour, I'll call him.
After I get the session done tomorrow, I have to start prepping for my fall classes. No summer. No fun and games. I miss me.
