healed computer

Oddly, after being unplugged for a few days, my computer started up last night. I was unable to get internet last night, but then this morning, bingo, there it was. Who knows what happened? Not I. Everything computers do is miraculous to me. Maybe it's all those family members on Facebook who are praying for one thing or another and just have to share it with everyone else. Why not?

It's actually bothering me that so many of my family on Facebook are using the space as a pulpit to "praise Jesus" and ask for God's help to heal their sick relatives and friends. I'm really starting to wonder about my family. Are they capable of critical thinking in the least, or are their lives just that bleak? My brother's son married a woman with brain cancer. She knew her prognosis was not good when they married. He knew it, too. Everyone knew it. Now, all of a sudden, it's turned into this desperate plea on Facebook for everyone to share the misery and pray for Amy. We're getting a blow-by-blow of her seizures and hospitalizations. I feel bad about Amy, even if I don't know her, but it seems to me that they've taken leave of their senses if they think that an inoperable cancer is different post-nuptials than pre-nuptials. What, God listens to the married more than to the single?

I am a cynic. A doubter. A disbeliever. A realist. Damned, for sure.
