I can't seem to stop taking pictures of clouds. I love clouds. Plain blue skies are lovely, too, but clouds have much more character, just like a woman's face with wrinkles has more character than the face of some pre-teen.
Esteemed Spouse is now in Boston. I took him to the airport about 8:15 this morning. He'll be back on Monday, around 9:30-10:00 p.m. I guess I could have gone with him (he asked), but I'm not good at going out by myself to do the touristy thing. And he'll be busy the whole time with interviewing potential new marketing department hires.
My right knee has been aching a lot lately. Probably because I sit too much. I love to read, and with time growing short, I feel as if I have to hurry up and finish this last stack of books from Mystery Book Club. I'm not able to do anything else (like ride my stationary bike) while reading because of a tendency to get motion-sick.
We bought some new stuff at Staples yesterday for our upcoming semester. I even got an adorable mini-mouse for my laptop computer. I had been using the one that my husband lent me that he'd gotten to go with his school laptop, and now I've got an adorable purple one with flowers on it.
Today is Friday the 13th. It's also my husband's baby brother's wedding anniversary. I usually try to send them a card, but they never acknowledge any event of ours, so I just skipped it this year. We have a big event coming up: our younger son's 30th birthday. Wish I could be there to bake him a cake (pineapple, his favorite) and sing Happy Birthday to him, but he doesn't seem to want us to drive down. I guess we'll send money. It's what he needs, and it's what we usually do. So personal, she said sarcastically.
Guess I'll go back and read some more.
