We've been here in Fayetteville, Arkansas, since Friday, noonish. This area is in the middle of a heat wave, and the heat index has been 105 degrees +. Hard to bear for those of us used to the mild Michigan summers.
Tomorrow we'll head for Louisiana. Stephen is coming with us. Daniel was going to come, but he had a panic/anxiety attack last Wednesday and could not get on the airplane to Arkansas. Stephen will be flying to Sacramento to help Daniel move back to Missouri next week.
I'm really tired and sapped by the heat. I'll try to catch up with everyone more when I get home. Meanwhile, tomorrow is my 59th birthday, and I'll be in the car for 6-7 hours as we drive to West Monroe. Sigh. I just wish I could figure out what to do about seeing my relatives.
