Maybe Katherine McPhee has an acting career ahead of her. I just watched a rerun of CSI: New York. She wasn't bad. I definitely like her better with long brown hair than with short blonde hair. We aren't all destined to be blondes. She is a much better brunette than blonde.
I'm spending the weekend here in Big Rapids. My beloved came up last night to take me to dinner at Ruby Tuesday. It was good. He brought up some stuff I needed. The way it's looking, I won't be home till Wednesday night. I am SO ready for summer.
I got my hair trimmed yesterday at Boric's. My favorite stylist is still on maternity leave, so I used the "next available" person. Her own hair was a dyed black rat's nest, so I was a bit concerned. She took her time, though, and did okay. I had to "fix" a few extra-long locks this morning, though. While my spouse was in BR, I took him by to have his own hair trimmed. His stylist did a good job.
Daniel is now in Sacramento, California. I hope his time there works out. I know Stephen and Heather could use some private time to get their lives back together after Daniel's prolonged stay. Still, I worry.
I've been here in Big Rapids for six days. My husband came up last night. We ate out and walked down to Dairy Queen for a less-than-yummy peanut buster parfait. Ick.
I spent today in my office working. Of course, I'm nowhere near done yet. Why do I do this to myself? I've got to get my act back together. That's why I'm hoping this summer will be restful for me. I'm so ready to be off the hook for teaching and grading.
It rained last night. Maybe it'll rain again tonight. It's pretty humid.
I'm ready for bed, and it's only 8:15.
