Snowing all over the world

It's fun to read all the blogs and Facebook posts from my Southern friends and family who are so excited about the snow they're getting. Monroe got 5 inches! That's really a lot for them. It's even snowing in Savannah. So of course, I have to post my own little video that I took of the front yard and driveway today.

It's been a long week. I had a meeting at ten a.m. this morning so I stayed one more night in Big Rapids and drove home afterwards, arriving about 12:30. The Beloved went to the golf show at 3 p.m. and I went to the arts and crafts store for more yarn. I'm a crocheting fool lately. It keeps my mind and hands occupied. I like the joy of putting beautiful textures and colors together. Nothing gives me greater happiness than creating something.

But now, after my very long day, I am totally wiped and ready for bed. Sunday is Valentine's Day, so tomorrow I need to get caught up on some of my work. I say that every week and every week I let a little more slide. It's just a pity that I can't have my weekends free. I work nonstop during the week, often putting in 10 and 12-hour days. It would be lovely to be able to spend time with my husband without wallowing in guilt because of the work I could and should be doing.
