So it means that Michigan will have six more months of winter. Just kidding. Only four more months of winter. Seriously, if we're done with the snow in May, I'll be a happy woman.
I had to let my last two classes out early today. I just felt weird. The class before, at noon, I'd gotten too warm. The room was overheated, and I began to feel lightheaded. Then when I got to the 1:30 class, my head seemed foggy. Because the 3 p.m. class is the same as the 1:30 class, I had to let them out early, too. Oh, well. They are pharmacy students and always have something they need to be doing. My class is low priority for them.
My blood sugar has been jumping up and down, as well. Last night I shot to 151, but then this morning, the number dropped way low. I'm probably not eating enough protein. It wouldn't have been a bad idea to go to the grocery store today, but it was snowing. My car was iced over, and it took a while to thaw it out enough to drive it the three blocks to the apartment. The apartment seemed chilly, as well. So by the time I got home, drank some coffee, talked to my beloved, and ate a bit of supper, it was time for American Idol. I'm not terribly impressed with the talent pool this time. Maybe someone will begin to stand out once the show goes to Hollywood.
I'm really tired, so it's time for bed. Unlike my niece Tassina, or my son Daniel, I don't get a second wind. I just get sleepy. Exhausted. Ready to crash.
