Now that the plumber has installed the faucets and garbage disposal....

The plumber did not arrive between the hours of 10 and 12, as planned, so Esteemed Spouse called, and the plumber had "forgotten" to enter us into his schedule. It was around 2 o'clock before he finally got here. It's going to take a bit to get used to the garbage disposal being on the right side (since the switch for it is on the left), but other than that, all looks good.

I've been doing arts and crafts today. I repainted the fleur de lis tree topper in a gold metallic and added more gold glitter. I've continued work on my ribbon tree, and I've finished my cork board except for slapping on some acrylic clear glaze for protection. It's rained most of the day, so outside work or travel has not been tempting.

Adam Lambert was banned from ABC this morning for his racy performance on the American Music Awards, but CBS snatched him up. He did a great mini-concert of two songs from his new CD. Happily, as well, my CD came in the mail today, and I've listened to it twice. It's incredible. There are a couple of songs that I can see making the top ten.

Now, who was that lesser talent who actually wound up winning American Idol this year? Can't even remember his name.
