I've just gone through and blocked several people on Facebook. To be honest, since a number of my colleagues are on Facebook, I needed to do some damage control. There are still a couple of others I probably ought to block, but I'm not even going to get on Facebook again for a few days. When my nutty relatives realize they aren't getting any response from me, maybe they'll give up.
I hardly slept last night. Too cold, then too hot, then tossing and turning for whatever reason. Probably irritation that my niece Melissa has clearly gone around the bend. She's always been one candle shy of a menorah, but geez....
We went to the meeting today to celebrate the good news that Ferris State University will give same-sex partners medical benefits, beginning Jan. 1, 2010. Celebration!
I suspect I have fever. My beloved put his face against my forehead and said he thought so, too. So many sick people, but I can't afford to be one of them.
Horrific news about the shootings, first in Texas, then in Florida. I feel old. Sad. Sick.
