I just unfriended my cousin Walt and my Aunt Eula. There's no point. All that gets involved is their discomfort with my lack of beliefs in their dogma. I unfriended Walt before he unfriended me, and then for good measure, I added Aunt Eula, his mother. I had not really wanted to friend her anyway, but Walt had wanted me to. I also unfriended this other person, Josh, who is some sort of relative to Walt. There seemed to be no point since I didn't know the guy.
My beliefs are offensive to THEM?!!!! They are clueless how offensive their beliefs are to ME.

- I'm a newly retired college writing professor. I loved teaching, but it's time to move on and reclaim some of myself. I also love my husband, my two sons, my daughter-in-law, and some (if not all) of my other relatives. I'm sort of anti-social, but I do claim some long-term friendships that are deeply important to me.
