Our not-so-lovely backyard is turning into a soggy mess, as the video will show. It's rained pretty hard today, with some thunder. For our home state of Louisiana, that's what March is like. For Michigan, it's unusual.
I saw on a newsclip that the nation's worst highways listed I-10 in Louisiana as terrible, but for Michigan, the verdict was that ALL the roads in Michigan were terrible. I heartily concur. The road getting to Betty's is going to have all my fillings shaken loose, as well as all my car parts shaken off my car! In my reading of Bill Holtz's book Gathering the Family I noticed that he referred to one road in Michigan as a frozen washboard. Could he and I be citing the same road?
