Missing Tassina

Tassina's blog has been removed. I don't know if she herself removed it or if her husband took it off. She's got a birthday coming up on May 14, so I hope she's okay.

I'm in the agonies of end-of-semester grading. Saturday I want to be home to watch the Kentucky Derby, and Sunday is Mother's Day. Speaking of motherhood, my older son has gotten more rejections from graduate schools. My heart breaks for him. What will he do now? My advice--which he won't take--is to retake the bar exam. But lots of lawyers are going jobless right now. So that might not be such a good piece of advice. We just did not expect him to have this much trouble getting into a grad school.

I'm having a lot of eye trouble. The floaters are worse. It's hard to grade, so today I bought a magnifying lamp, a big one that can magnify an entire page. It's helping.

American Idol was good tonight. James Durbin continues to blow me away.

Too worried to write.
