Adding sound effects

I posted a lot of pictures from our Hawaii trip on Facebook, but none of the video. I took some videos myself, though apparently I lost some of them because the flip video memory was full. Darn it. Still, I'm going to post one today so that my dedicated followers (all three of them) can hear how constant and loud the wind was!

It was snowing lightly again this morning when we got up. We lolled about, drank coffee, ate breakfast, watched tv, and otherwise managed to avoid facing reality. At least the sun is predicted to shine later today. I watched mallard ducks (returning from the south?) land on the pond this morning.

Today being Sunday, I feel tense and anxious because of all the things I've got to do over the coming week. On Friday I'm presenting a paper on nonverbal communication to the Michigan Academy of Arts and Sciences. Less than a week later, I'm presenting a paper in St. Louis at the Popular Culture Conference; it is on advertising in detective fiction. Neither paper is written yet, though both have been researched. As usual, there is grading to do. I'm being observed AGAIN this coming Thursday. The summer cannot come quickly enough.
