There was an eclipse of the moon tonight, and because we actually had a clear sky for the first time in who-knows-how-long, I got to see it. It reminded me of how much I miss seeing the moon and stars and sky. If I had known when I was young that my adulthood would be spent in an area where seeing the moon was rare, I would have spent much, much more time absorbing the moon's rays.
Speaking of the sky, it's being reported that the U.S. shot down a failing spy satellite in order to keep it from hitting earth. Some theorized that we didn't want other countries to get hold of the secrets from the satellite. My own theory is that they wanted to play with the big guns to see if they could shoot something out of the sky. Men pissing on fire hydrants.
I'm tired. It's time for bed. Dr. S.
