Losing my mind

I honestly thought I'd added an entry to the blog since Groundhog Day. Am I losing my mind? Did I only dream that I'd added an entry? Or did the entry get erased somehow? Geez. Gettin' old ain't for sissies.

It's snowing like crazy today. They're talking about a possible foot of snow this afternoon and tonight. The temp is 31 degrees, so at least the salt works on the roads--a good thing since last night brought freezing rain.

But it's nothing like the swath of tornadoes through the states of Arkansas, Tennessee, and Alabama. Close to 50 people have died. One college was severely damaged, but no deaths.

Today I received the materials for my teaching presentation on Feb. 18. I'll be stepping into a real class taught by someone who has graciously stepped aside for the day and who has sent me all her materials. She is apparently abnormally organized. I guess if I'd been at the same school for decades, teaching the same subjects on more or less the same schedules, I could be organized, too. Nah. That would be boring. Yesterday one of my students told me that she learns more in my class than in all her others, even though I (confession time) often let my class out a few minutes early.

This missing post has me really bothered. I know I wrote a post. Did it get censored? Did I forget to save something somehow? Did my helpful husband do something when he added computer memory to my computer yesterday? Or--am I losing my mind?

Because I am concerned about the missing blog post, I'm going to close this one to see if it too disappears. Dr. S.
