Mizzou wins Cotton Bowl

Don't meddle in the affairs of Tigers, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup. Especially if you happen to be a hog of the razorback type.

It's been a quiet day in Lake Woebegone. Sorry, Garrison Keillor. Too good a line to resist. We've done little today--eat, sleep, watch parade, watch football. The favorite aunt of Esteemed Spouse called briefly, but other than that, the phone hasn't rung. I'm nevertheless overcome by an uneasy sense of guilt. It's habitual. If I'm not doing something academic--grading papers, getting course prep done--I feel as if I should be. Earlier my left eye began to twitch, and I'm grinding my teeth again. Old habits dying hard, I suppose.

I'll attempt to be prolific, entertaining, and profound tomorrow. Tonight I'm sleepy. Dr. S.
