I've renewed my lease. My landlady lowered my rent back to $475--that helped me to decide, but the main factor was this week's snow. It reminded me of how much I fear driving in the winter months. I haven't told Katherine (my potential carpooling partner) yet. There's plenty of time. I also got some pressure from my Esteemed Spouse to keep the apartment. He says it's because he worries about my driving back and forth. Let's hope he isn't enjoying his time alone too much.
We also got a two percent pay raise, thanks to the union negotiations that finally concluded. I'm getting about $50 more a month.
I'm still here at school even on a Friday. I'm going in to the office shortly to work for four or so hours before I drive back home. It's that crunch time of the semester that I both hate and love.
Guess I'd better get dressed.
