Happy Anniversary to Me!

Tomorrow will be mine and my husband's 40th wedding anniversary. Our new recliners will be delivered on Thursday of next week, so we won't get to enjoy them until then. Meanwhile, we have dinner plans and I have gotten him a couple of pairs of cufflinks. One has tiny ruby-colored stones set in it, since the 40th is the Ruby Anniversary. The other has a camera dial (for setting F-stops and focusing, like on a camera).

Speaking of cameras, I need to figure out whether I have our wedding photos scanned in. I hope so. I want to change my Facebook photo.

It's been a busy week. I managed to spill a box of my students' journals into a puddle as it was raining. This, after my umbrella had blown inside out and my waterproof hoodie hat had blown off. But I got through everything I needed to do. Some days that's about all I can claim.

I had my doctor's appointment yesterday and got flu shot and pneumonia shot. As a result, I ran a little fever last night and slept heavily last night. Fever always makes me dream weird dreams.

I'll try to write more later. Right now I need to hunt up a wedding photo!
